Laveen Art League
In August 2006, Artists in Laveen formed a new organization - the Laveen Art League.
The purpose of the League is to establish a place for visual artists to meet, coordinate ways to exhibit their work in Laveen and surrounding areas, and promote art in the community at large.
The meeting dates are on the 3rd Monday of each month at 7 pm. Currently, the meetings are rotating between various members' studios. As the group grows, a more permanent location will be chosen. Dues have been established at $25 per year and the group is now a recognized member organization of the Laveen Community Council.
